Bid and buy online

It's easy to bid at our online timed auctions via Easy Live Auction. In a timed online auction, there is no auctioneer taking bids from a live audience in a room, instead, each lot can be bid on for a defined period of time. The auctions run for around 10 days with a count down to the lot closure time. As the auction progresses, bidders have the opportunity to raise their bid amount. You can bid at any point from when the auction opens to when it closes. 

As a bidder, you can enter a maximum bid – the most you are willing to bid, using the set bidding increments and we do the rest. We will bid intelligently for you, bidding only enough for you to meet the reserve or stay in the lead. Your max bid stays secret in the system and no else is aware of how much you've bid.

If someone bids higher than your maximum, we will send you an email to let you know, so you can decide whether to bid more. If a bid is placed in the final few minutes of the defined time period, the time period will be extended by another five minutes.

Pay for your purchase

If you’re the successful bidder then the winning item will be yours to take away after purchase. The final amount payable will include the hammer price (the auction sale price), the buyer’s premium and a 3% online bidding fee charged by the platform.

You may pay by bank transfer, cash on collection, or by debit or credit card. You will receive an invoice by email after the sale and a link to pay online.

We can provide a Royal Mail Special Delivery option for small non-breakable items - see the 'Shipping' tab on individual lots for details.

For all other items (& international shipping requirements), we suggest either: Mailboxes Etc. or Pack & Send delivery and collection services. Please remember that they will require the lot number, sale date, and shipping address to offer a quote.
